ACCOMMODATIONS
Stay Awhile...
For our out-of-town guests, we’ve reserved a room block at the RENAISSANCE COLUMBUS WESTERVILLE-POLARIS HOTEL. Conveniently located in Polaris, the hotel is just 20 minutes from downtown Columbus, 15 minutes from our alma mater, Ohio State, and 15–20 minutes from John Glenn International Airport.
We’ve secured a special rate of $189 per night for our guests, available for standard king or double queen rooms. You can reserve your room using the button below, or by calling the hotel directly at 614-882-6800 and mentioning the Hamrick-Smith wedding to receive the discounted rate.
Since our wedding falls on a holiday weekend, we recommend booking early to secure your room at our discounted rate!
* Shuttle transportation will be provided to and from the hotel and wedding venue. Additional transportation details will be added to the website as we get closer to the wedding day!
FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
What time should I arrive for the ceremony?
We kindly ask that you arrive at Magnolia Hill Farm by 4:00pm. This will allow ample time to find your seat and get settled before the proceedings begin - light refreshments will be offered before the ceremony. Please reference our events page for more timing details.
Will transportation be provided?
Yes, there will be a shuttle to and from the hotel and wedding venue. Specific transportation details will be added to the website as we get closer to the wedding day!
Is there parking at the venue?
Yes! If you choose to drive, parking will be available at the venue.
What should I wear? What is the dress code?
The dress code for our wedding is Garden Party Formal. Garden Party Formal attire blends classic elegance with a celebratory touch - think polished, elevated looks with a bit of personality. Have fun with it!
For women, this could mean a floor-length gown or a chic midi in a bold color, playful print, or luxe fabric. For men, please wear a suit or sports coat. Overall, we encourage you to dress to impress while embracing a fun, stylish twist. You can find more inspiration below!
Are kids welcome?
While we adore all the children in our lives, our wedding celebration will be adults-only, with the exception of our flower girls and ring bearers. We appreciate your understanding and can’t wait to celebrate with you!
When should I RSVP by? Can I bring a plus one?
Formal invitations will be sent next summer with all of the details you’ll need to RSVP. At that time, please RSVP online using the RSVP page on our website by July 10th. Your invitation will indicate who is invited, including whether a plus-one is included. When submitting your RSVP, please be sure to respond for each guest listed on your invitation.
What if I have dietary restrictions or allergies?
Please let us know about any dietary restrictions or allergies when you RSVP, and we’ll be happy to accommodate you!
